Milwaukee, WI – Splash Studio: a painting bar, located in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward, is set to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday, May 12th with its innovative glass vase painting "Born to Fly." The vase, which will be prepped for each painter with a primary white coat of paint will allow customers to paint a 360 painting that captures the life of a mother bird raising a baby bird to adulthood.

Project New Year’s Eve at Splash Studio
Milwaukee, WI – Splash Studio: a painting bar, located in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward, will host Project New Year’s Eve on Monday, December 31, 2012. Doors will open at 8:00pm to party revelers looking for a creative night out experience. Project Eve will begin at 9:00pm and feature local artist John Kowalczyk’s new painting Tidal Wave. Session participants receive:
* 22”x28” super-sized gallery wrapped canvas
* 3 hours of artist-led instruction, with specifics for three-dimensional plaster painting techniques

Splash Studio set to glow on Gallery Night
Milwaukee, WI – Splash Studio: a painting bar, located in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward, will glow in the dark on Friday, July 27, 2012, from 10:00pm-midnight in celebration of the 100th Gallery Night. Due to the success of its first “glow paint project” for the April 2012 Gallery Night, customers will once again be treated to 1,000 watts of black light, glow sticks, and a painting session led by local artist Dena Nord.

A combination bar and painting studio, the newest addition to the 3rd Ward in Milwaukee, grew out of the co-founders’ desire to tap into both the burgeoning neighborhood and its arts community.
Founded by married couple Marla Hahn and David Poytinger, Splash Studio at 184 N. Broadway opened on March 21 with a collection of seven local artists who will teach patrons to paint as they sip on wine and beer.
