Guma is set to graduate from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2018 with a major in Illustration. Though he's been creating throughout his life, he decided to make it his career when he was in 6th grade. His work ranges from portraits to landscapes to animals, but tends to incorporate storytelling and dynamic lighting to bring the subjects to life. His upcoming solo show, "How to Walk", features a series of acrylic paintings based on the idea of progression and advancement, both in a literal and figurative sense.
During the Historic Third Ward's Gallery Night event on October 20th, Splash Studio will feature Guma's artwork. To view more of his work, please visit http://www.thestudio319.com.
