Splash Studio® Employment Opportunity: Lead Artist
Splash Studio® seeks energetic, talented artists to lead three-hour painting sessions. Artists should enjoy painting and speaking in front of large groups of people, be able to articulate their “inner-monologue” while painting, and be able to adapt their style and teaching methods to the unique needs of each group of customers.
Splash Studio is a painting bar. Come on in, grab a drink, and sit down in front of a canvas -- simple as that. At its core, Splash offers a three-hour experience with a local artist. That artist will guide you through an original painting, show you tips and tricks, and encourage you to take painting risks you never thought you had the skill to take. You can follow along with our (trendy, cool, hip) artists on staff who will be there to guide the stick-figured-challenged, or you can change up colors and techniques to make it your own. Or, just paint whatever moves you in the moment. We'll be there to get you another drink or more paint whenever you need it. After three hours with us, you'll walk out with a painting you love, and we'll take care of the cleanup.
To offer a unique social environment in which people can explore their creativity while supporting the local artistic community.
184 N. Broadway, Milwaukee, WI 53202
Splash Artists are expected to work 4-20 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible, with primary work hours being Wednesday-Friday (shifts in evenings) and Saturday-Sunday (shifts available all day).

Lead Artists are required to undergo a certification process whereby they complete Splash Studio official training requirements. Once certified, artists must attend paid semi-annual meetings and yearly performance reviews. A certification syllabus and evaluation criteria are available upon request.
