Sometimes a painting comes from the most unlikely source of inspiration. In this case, this painting was developed at a variation of the painting Technicolor Targets. If you look closely, you can see the connection with the center of the flowers representing the circles of the targets.
After Natalie painted the original Scarlet Bouquet, customers were so enamored by it that it was quickly added to the library. While it is offered year-round, it is most famous for always being offered the day before Thanksgiving, as that was the first day the painting was offered in a session to the public.
